Chapter one characters
The hero · The heart of the adventure
Thoughtful, curious, clever, brave, humble, and just a little mischievous. Trashy sees value where others see nothing, and he respects the things people throw away.
He is not fearless. He is brave because he keeps going while afraid. When something is wrong in the woods, Trashy follows the trail because he cannot leave his neighbors to deal with it alone.
What drives him Find where the pollution is coming from and protect the home he loves.
The chaos · The wildcard · The best friend
Unpredictable, enthusiastic, fearless, curious, loyal, and strange. Jimothy is not dumb; he simply values curiosity over caution, which makes every discovery an adventure of its own.
He speaks quickly and acts on impulse. Sometimes he says the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time. Every so often, he says something unexpectedly insightful—and he always contributes.
What drives him Follow Trashy wherever the trail leads, find something interesting, and see what happens next.
Trash Dash is in development. The world—and the mess—will keep growing.
The Gunk has its grip on them.
Chapter 1 · The Gunk’s first warning
A familiar refuse mass, warped and animated by the Gunk. It guards its pile and blocks Trashy’s path through the woods.
It is not a creature Trashy needs to conquer. It is an infected victim: a first look at what happens when the things Trashy values become corrupted.
What it reveals The Gunk can turn something ordinary into a threat without taking away the need for care.
Chapter 2 · The bin-hound
Half bulldog, half garbage can, and fully caught in the Gunk. At the edge of the neighborhood, Brutus comes charging out of the dark.
For a moment, his eyes clear and he recognizes Trashy. Then the Gunk takes over again. Water can stop the attack, but it does not cure him.
What he reveals Even when the Gunk changes someone, there may still be a friend trapped inside.
